Foekje Fleur

After graduating in both Design and Fine Arts, Foekje Fleur found her way by making objects that are functional and yet, give space for thought. Her attractive and colorful designs seem playful at first sight but are in fact inspired by serious topics like environmental pollution. Foekje spends most of her time in the studio in Rotterdam working on new projects.

De maker
Laurens is an illustrator who, after graduating art school in 2014, decided to travel the world. He bought a one way ticket to Bangkok and from there an artistic journey started that led him through Asia, Australia and ended with a year in Spain. During his travels he got inspired by all the different cultures, landscapes and architecture he encountered which you can clearly see in his work. In August 2017 he decided to return to the Netherlands to get more serious about his illustrations. His drawings are very realistic and documentary, but he is also influenced by the tattoo world. Using only pen and paper he creates higly detailed black and white drawings documenting the places he visited and things he is inspired by like architecture skateboarding, music and nature.
